I was intrigued by the unique, minimal design of the Nebula Portable Projector, so I wanted to investigate further. Then, I discovered that it offers both the advantages of a portable unit as well as video qualities of a higher-quality projector.
In other words, you can get the best of both worlds. Plus, if you like watching movies in different locations, the Nebula might be the perfect solution for you.
Note: Just like other projectors, this model displays a brighter, clearer image in darker environments. However, the picture looks surprisingly good in the daylight (indoors, like a conference room).

How to Use the Nebula Compact Projector:
Beyond the convenient portability factor, this projector is really easy to use.
For example, you can control all of the functions directly through your phone. In other words, you can use your smartphone as a remote instead of using the included handheld remote controller.
In addition, you can connect various devices to the Mars II. Therefore, you can stream virtually any video you want (ie Youtube, Netflix, etc..).
Simply use the HDMI and USB inputs on the back side of the projector to connect gadgets. Or, mirror content from your phone with Miracast.
Note: In addition, the Nebula Projector has the ability to act as a bluetooth speaker for other electronics.
For example, you can connect your phone, tablet or laptop to it via bluetooth and use it as an external speaker!
The Mars II comes with a convenient carrying handle and weighs less than 4 lbs. However, I wouldn’t consider it a “pocket projector”. If you want a smaller device that weighs about 1 lbs, check out the Nebula Capsule.
Nebula Mars 2 Projector VS Nebula Capsule Comparison:
First of all, you can get the Capsule Smart W-Fi Mini Projector for about half the price of the Mars II. However, the cheaper price does come with some trade offs.
For example, the more expensive Mars II has a 5X brighter picture, has a better resolution and can display a 50% larger image. In other words, the Mars II provides a significantly improved video experience.
Not to mention, you get 2 built-in speakers instead of 1. Plus, they have double the power, resulting in 4X the wattage of the smaller device. Some people describe it as a better cinematic surround sound experience, especially outdoors.
Having said all that, the Capsule has its own advantages. For instance, it’s smaller size makes it more portable. And since it uses less power, the unit can run 25% longer without having to be re-charged. (4 hours instead of 3.)

- Where to Buy the Nebula Mars II Smart Projector
As you have probably guessed, you don’t mount the nebula from the ceiling or wall. However, you can attach it to an adjustable-height projector stand. It adjusts from 26″ to 57′ tall. Therefore, you don’t have to rely on having a table at the exact height you need.
